Driftwood Beach
Driftwood beach is a natural coarse sand beach along the shore of the Atlantic Ocean. Many recreational and educational opportunities are available, as the direct effects of erosion is very apparent through massive root systems and upturned trees are scattered over the beach. It is estimated that nearly 1,000 feet of the beach has been lost since the early 1900s.
